Municipal Development Plan Adopted by Council in August 2007, the Municipal Development Plan provides broad policy direction on how growth and development in Lacombe County will be managed. Where are we in the process?
Following the policy framework set out in the Municipal Development Plan, the Land Use Bylaw (LUB) sets out the rules and regulations describing how individual properties may be used or developed. The LUB is a more regulatory document that describes the type of land use or development which can be made of individual properties within the County. Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out a survey or attended one of the public meetings! This feedback will help to guide future development in Lacombe County.
